“After I was gripped by the producer fever with the Atari computer 1988, the more I was hit by the techno-ambient phenomenon in 1990.
I am deeply rooted in Jazz and loved any African-American dance music. From that time on my way of composing changed enormously.
I preferred the British version of that new electronic liberty, the uncompromisingness to mix different music styles. It was obvious to me to produce an album.
Making this kind of music was like a kind of salvation, an acquit from the virtuosic musician image; free in an endless journey of pumping beats and atmospheric sounds.”
